Trialstar Shop

Trialstar boasts an impressive line-up of motorcycle trials riders of the past, present and more importantly the future. We begin with David Rodgers, the 2005 Irish and Ulster C class champion and minder for Trialstar partner Andrew Perry. David also commentates on the showmanship of the Trialstar team and went a stage further as co-commentator alongside Jack Burnicle, at the Indoor World Trial in the Odyssey Arena on Feb 10th 2006 for the second consecutive year.

Andrew Perry for the past decade has lead by example within Irish trials, his success is apparent, his titles to numerous to mention but we must, for the record…a 5-time Irish Champion and a 9-time Ulster Champion says it all. He currently holds both titles and also completed the Grand Slam in the prestigious Red Bull arena trial series in 2004. Andrew now applies his ability and knowledge to section design, this was demonstrated at the hugely successful Indoor World Trial events in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena in 05’ & 06’.

The next member of the international face of Trialstar is Gareth Andrews a.k.a. ‘The Bangor Bull’. Gareth was the only Irish representative in the Outdoor World Trials Championship Round in his hometown of Bangor 2003. He was joined by teammate Andrew Perry for the 2004 event. Never a guy to shy away from the big occasion, Gareth, who trains harder arguably than any other Irish competitor, intends to compete in selected World Rounds in 2006.

The latest signing is the highly respected and talented Michael Burton. Michael has developed over the last two seasons as a major contender for Irish Championship honours and plays an important role in the Irish Team performances on the international stage. The Co. Wicklow Trialstar won the final Red Bull arena trial of 2005 confirming his ability to succeed on all types of terrain both natural and manmade.

Andrew, Gareth and Michael where all part of the Irish squad which achieved a memorable World Team victory in Cordoba, Spain 2004 at the Trial des Nations.

The Trialstar Youth Team is lead by Robert Andrews a.k.a. ‘Bert’. Another Bangor, Co. Down resident, this teenage ‘whiz kid’ is the hottest property in Irish trials. His ability is there for all to see and in 2006 Robert and mentor Harold Crawford aim to complete a full World Championship campaign, in the competitive Youth 125cc class. This category is designed to produce future World Champions from the best 16yr old on the planet; Robert has shown he can mix it with the best in Europe…now he looks to take on the World!

Joining ‘Bert’ on his travels to British rounds this summer is new Youth recruit Jordan Scott from Newtownards, Co. Down. Jordan is 14yrs young and has emerged well through the local youth system, challenging each week for top spot A class honours. His 2006 priority is a full series of British Schoolboy B class Championship events. Invaluable experience will be gained and with the support received from senior teammates Jordan’s ‘trialing’ future looks to be in safe hands.

We wish ‘The Team’ a successful season of competitions and shows in 2006. To all who have and continue to support Trialstar in whatever way…we thank you and remember…
